ALL FACE OFF horses come UTD on farrier care and vetting, as well as freshly out of extremely thorough training (that alone is worth thousands of dollars)

His Story

Dempsey arrived into Ohio from a stark, sad Ohio seizure case in late 2016. Some horses didn’t make it off the property with their lives, so Dempsey was a lucky boy! He has been living tied to a tree for some months. He came to Heart of Phoenix without any previous training. He has been a joy for his foster, as well as for those at Sunni Bell!

His Training

Dempsey is a very willing pony.

He is currently jumping a steady 2′ and has gone up to 2’6 under saddle, 3′ free jumping. He has seen flowers, liverpools, oxers, etc. Dempsey is an easy ride with three nice gaits and no buck, rear, or spook. He has no stable vices, is a pleasure to be around, and catches in the field. Dempsey has been to two shows with a junior rider (w/t x rails and wtc x rails) and has scored second and third place ribbons to back that. He willingly stood tied to a trailer through out the event, and he was a gentlemen in the ring. By the time of the FACE Off, he will have attended several more shows, too! He loads and ties like a dream and will be a great addition to any barn. He can be finished by an advanced beginner with a trainer. Dempsey is always the same horse every time he’s ridden and truly loves his job. Come try him out at Sunni Bell Stables in Burgettstown, PA when you apply.
