We can’t share this enough. It is as simple as that.

Headed to see Skye at Adkins Quarter Horses
Skye with HOP adopter and a friend of mine. . .at Adkins Quarter Horses in training today – she is adoptable
Spicy and Tara sporting a new fly mask
3 of these horses are safe and adopted today because Heart of Phoenix was there at the right time. The outlook without us would have been very bleak. . .
Makes me tear up when I see these group rehab photos!
Skye out on the trail yesterday with trainer, Aubrey Carey. — with Aubrey Carey.
The rescue would like to trade our solid, ramp load 2 horse bumper pull trailer for a 12-14 foot bumper pull stock trailer – share and help us find what we could really use. The two horse is worth $2,200 plus.
Niteza (adopted by Suzanna J years ago) with Alfie now (adoptable and in training there)
This. . .is why we do what we do . . .
Inside these skeletons we get in. . .are amazing athletes, companions, friends!
(Alex came to the rescue with previous training – the head set you see is NOT forced. Also, while his body language may look a little grumpy, he is stressed from his first big show, but he was a brave, good boy! I was there to see him show, and this was a great day for him) — with Nicky Walters.
Two years ago tomorrow, Scarlett’s life was saved. Literally, had it been one day longer, she would have died. Over 135,000 people would not have watched her story on Youtube. Millions would not have read her story in Horse Illustrated. Her’s was the most hopeless story of all. . .
This photo is with her adopter in 2013, and while I will post one of her taken tomorrow on the actual anniversary, this is really the MOST fitting image I can imagine.
Share her story. It is the most worthy rescue story I have ever heard, and I’m humbled and proud to have been a part of it.

It is by the goodness of God that in our country we have those three unspeakably precious things: freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and the prudence never to practice either of them.

Two photos exactly Two years apart today Scarlett, what an amazing story you have

Thank you so much for your continued support!
