We are so thankful to be selected as a Doris Day Animal Foundation (DDAF) grantee this year!
We have been grateful to be awarded funding to help save and care for the horses of Appalachia several times over the years through the foundation.
I grew up watching re-runs of Doris Day so often in the 90s, and to find, when I founded Heart of Phoenix, she had such a love for helping animals make those old films all the more loved!
