A Successful Health and Gelding clinic for the 2nd Year in Row for West Virginia and Heart of Phoenix!

This year, we had over 35 sign up to attend, and in the end, 22 horses received Health care, including dental floats, antibiotics, lameness exams, trims and vaccines. 9 horses were gelded, as well!

We have other on site geldings arranged for some applicants with multiple horses and no possible way to transport during October, as well.

This clinic is the first of this kind in West Virginia, and we know this is making a difference at the roots of Equine welfare!

Special thanks to the ASPCA for the $5,000 Grant toward this clinic, as well as a per gelding grant of $50 per horse from the Unwanted Horse Coalition.

Thank you to Dr. Pinkston and Dr. Jones from coming back this year and working for hours on this clinic, as well as a thanks to Mark Ballard, our farrier.

Last but never least, thank you to the crew of Sunday Stables and our volunteers for all the work you all put in to make this a success!
