Gemma: Heart of Phoenix Rescue Horse of the Day

Gemma

gemma3.jpg

This gal is a very personable mare.

She really enjoys being with someone, and she would flourish with a confident rider as her own.

Her trainer had this to say:

“I had a lovely stroll today on Heart of Phoenix Equine Rescue, INC’s mare Gemma. This girl is surefooted as a mountain goat and can cover a lot of ground strolling along at a nice forward walk. Due to her outgoing and forward nature Gemma would likely do best with a confident rider aboard to guide her. It should be noted that Gemma has previously broken her withers and while she gets along fine in my tack any interested adopter would need to be sure to use a saddle that doesn’t put unnecessary amounts of pressure on the area. She hasn’t protested either of two saddles I’ve ridden her with so it must not be terribly difficult to keep her happy. You can find adoption info on their website wvhorserescue.org”
