The 2016 Heart of Phoenix Equine Rescue, INC calendar
Two of these images are part of the Heart of Phoenix Calendar shoot, though neither made the final cut for the calendar. During the sessions, capturing the RIGHT image for each horse to tell their story with part of the rescue team was so vital!
We ended up with a lot of beautiful images, but only a handful could make it into the calendar.
It was so important to capture a Fairy tale moment for these rescue horses. . .a Happily ever after point, a moment of Hope for their future. . .
These are images that portray a horse delivered, safe, healing and a horse with a purpose and power.
We chose to shoot with both Equine and Rescuer. Rescue works only cause of the volunteers giving all they can to the effort, and there was no way to really show what happens here apart from those who heal these horses.
I believe this undertaking has resulted in some of the most power and touching images you will EVER see of Equine Rescue (including an intake with V-Anna as a skeleton right off the trailer with HOP VP, Jessie, which will be featured both inside the calendar and likely on the cover)
We show horses from intake, during rehab, ready for adoption and post adoption in the work.
The Calendars will be 9.5×12 and ship in Fall 2015
