Heading to Sunday Stables today to get updated photos of Wynn, Memphis, Ellie and Clover!
Another trail ride today, and this time, 3 HOP horses – one adoptable (Wynn), one adoption pending (Mem) and one adopted (Reece)
Clover!!!
She is nice size mare and has a very youthful face! Clover has a kind personality and is very charismatic! She is gaited and a very well behaved girl! She does Rack.
EXQUISITE SINSATION “Ellie” is a Liver Chestnut, Saddlebred mare. She is registered (hoping papers will come soon). She is quiet minded and a good girl under saddle. She would make a nice Academy type horse! She is the lead mare in the pasture and has almost finished rehabilitating! Her fee is $400
Gorgeous, Gorgeous Memphis – this boy is just a knock out. What else can be said?
Oh, I just can’t wait to see Wynn 100% rehabbed! Coming soon –
Wynn has a lovely way of moving and will make a TERRIFIC dressage horse!! He is well broke but is a lot of momentum under saddle and will therefore not be suitable for a basic, beginner rider. Wynn is very friendly and a people oriented giant. You can see his beautiful motion in his videos!!! Wynn will not be adopted to a home for an eventing or cross country home. He is suitable for Show Jumping. He also seems to enjoy the trail!
Seven Kittens Need Homes NOW (7 photos)
St Albans, WV
These little darlings were thrown out in bags beside of rail road tracks a few days ago – they need safe homes –
No fees to homes with vet references and on spay/neuter contracts
Bettie is a 16HH, senior Tennessee Walking Horse mare. Bettie is very attractive and a sturdy built girl! She will need frequent dental floats and is on a senior feed. She is a very well trained girl for the confident rider – she neck reins, knows voice cues, side passes and loves to get up and go. Her fee is $400. (4 photos)

And out there in the “fancy” equine community, someone will defend this, as well.
The story of rescue. Half the battle is fighting people standing in the way of what is decent and good in this work.
At New Holland auction today… Pen of gorgeous, young, and healthy Belgians already marked for slaughter. They are tagged, and its too late for these. This is the face of slaughter.
Buckshot today with his adopter teaching kids at Camp Virgil Tate’s horse camp
The brand healing up on Ellie – it is looking fantastic! It is really important this brand be recognized far and wide for it be at it’s most effective
We will be moving Memphis to our VP’s location tomorrow to let him enjoy some turn out and to finish up rehab. Bettie will take his spot at Sunday Stables to get back in the groove of working
We are hoping for 6 more golf teams and 6 more hole sponsors. . .
Please share and talk to anyone you know how may be interested. We’d have a great turn out in the making now, but let’s make this a smashing success!
Surely you folks know a LOT of people who LOVE to golf in the Tri-state area?
Please take a moment to help the rescue out and suggest those avid golfers you know consider taking part in an event that will benefit both area Veterans through the VFW and the area equines through HOP!
Share, share
If you know no golfers, that is OKAY! We still need HOLE Sponsors from local businesses and prized donated!
It never ceases to amaze me that the worse starvation cases in HOP history occur in late spring and summer. . .Why on earth is that? You’d image it would be winter, but no . . .
Thank you so much for your continued support!
