Why we keep doing what we do.

Sadly, the only thing that prevents us from doing more is funding.
Please consider giving to this cause. As you see, it is not only much needed, but the reward is priceless!

Teddy is a Young Haflinger gelding rescued from starvation with Pecos by a private home. He will likely be coming to the rescue for placement. A recent placement isn’t working out. He is green but a good boy undersaddle. He has some occasional lameness we will have checked out if he comes here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSrI6X8mlao&feature=youtu.be

Finding amazing homes for the horses in rescue is as much a part of rescue as the saving and rehabbing of each horse!

Please share the adoptable link here so that great folks consider these horses!

Wynn’s video – his first ride in rescue!

This Molly Mule is in Hampshire county, WV. She was loose and hit by a car. She is a bit underweight. They have asked us to accept her in rescue, but I wanted to first see if we can find placement directly for her. She is about 5 hours away, though they would likely trailer her down for fuel costs. The officer says she follows her around and is very friendly.

This young blind gelding needs a home. He is well broke and has been shown and still does leadline

Skye update – progressing well at R and M in Virginia for training. . .

She just had a her yearly dental float, and she did get shoes yesterday.

The cost? $195 – we’d love to see this girl get some support! Visit http://www.wvhorserescue.org/donate.htmlto donate

Wynn – this 17.2hh 9 year old Thoroughbred could be your DRESSAGE prospect, for sure! Also, see him in motion, at liberty, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RN2k1kp03N0
