This year Heart of Phoenix will host our 6th Annual Animal Control Training for WV, Ohio and Kentucky in Morgantown, WV on October 21st and then in St Albans, WV at Sunday Stables on October 22nd

CLASSES TAKE PLACE IN AN OPEN AIR / BARN and OUTDOORS SETTING
The Morgantown class is taught from 9am – 3pm
This class will cover the handling of equines and livestock. It will cover some legal considerations for cases involving horses and livestock. There is an expanded “hands on” portion this year to be sure officers will be able to safely handle these large animals when needed.
We offer West Virginia’s Statewide Animal control and law enforcement training program each year at no cost to officers or counties.
This program receives In-Hours credit for officers statewide (WV), as well as for CLE credit (pending for 2021). It provides attendees the only equine neglect and cruelty training in the state, as well as handling safety training.
Attendees receive an easy access basic care manual, as well as halters and lead ropes, if needed.
