Hello everyone, a somber day has set forth, still no word on Moon.

In direct response to an undercover investigation exposing horrific animal abuse and sexual assault at Bettencourt Dairies, Idaho’s largest dairy factory farm, corrupt lawmakers and the Governor have put a bill into place to silence whistleblowers and keep the dairy industry’s dirty secrets hidden from public view. Ohio folks, we know the amazing effect the NEWS can have on this recovery –
PLEASE share this ALL over the LOCALS news stations pages and the papers’ pages on facebook, email it to them – KEEP on until some avenue WILL cover this story – it could SAVE her life. Auctions cover Ohio – the chances of us being at every single one – TOO slim! SHARE this until we get her safe!
Moon has been stolen.
Ohio area
Coming 6 year old Standardbred mare
Freezebrand looks to read – 4FC23 but actually says 4FE23Her adopter (the rescue retains ownership / adoptions function as a lease via contract)
was located in Chillicothe, Ohio (once more legal proceedings have been made, the adopter’s information will be made very public), and she sold the mare on craigslist in February of 2014, from what we can tell.

This mare belongs only to Heart of Phoenix. The adopter knowingly violated her contract and sold a horse she did not own.

The buyer, Greg Daniels of Jackson, Ohio, misread her tattoo and registered her a “Poorhouse,” who is a much better bred STB mare of the same age with a similar freezebrand.

She is said to have been traded to a friend of his in Oak Hill, Ohio. That is all we know at this time.

We are legally pursuing her recovery, but we would like those in the area to keep an eye out.

We will pay a reward for her safe return or a for information directly leading to her safe return.

The adopter will be held accountable in court, have no doubts about that, and we are actively working on that.

BUT our MAIN focus this moment is finding this mare!~

We are asking those who may attend horse sales and look on the areas craigslist to keep an eye out!
