We are likely bringing in a very abused TWH from Boone county – we will visit and evaluate him Sunday, and we are going to try to make room for the Draft X mare that will head to auction if not brought to us.

He is a 6 year old, American Walking Pony (TWH/WELSH cross), we believe. He stands 13.2HH. He is a very regal, handsome guy! He is now gelded.
He was found locked and boarded into his stall where he surely would have died. A local ACO seized Alfie and brought him to Heart of Phoenix. Alfie arrived drugged and extraordinarily frightened to be outside. When Alfie recovers from being gelded, he will be available to a home with training experience for an adoption fee of $150.
Alfie is appears to be completely un-started. If no qualified adopter can be found, his training fees will be extensive. Any contribution to Alfie’s rehabilitation (which will be costly) would be greatly appreciated!
